Jeanette grew up in Lower Bucks, Greater Philadelphia, and attended an all-girls Catholic prep school in Philadelphia before heading to UMass Amherst, where she earned a BA in Political Science. While there, she fell in love with the area and made it her home. After working in higher education and legal services, Jeanette spent six months in New Zealand from 2018 to 2019, which inspired her career shift into veterinary health.

She shares her home with her husband, Freeland, a Shih Tzu named Lilibet, and twin torbie girls, Boudica and August. A passionate history enthusiast and lover of natural history and science, Jeanette is a voracious reader, particularly of novels and nonfiction by authors like Austin, Wharton, and Dickens. A self-proclaimed Anglophile, she enjoys traveling and dining out in her free time.
